“You should definitely attend. From the information we obtained from the intake bootcamp and case management bootcamp, we realized that we need to have written procedures, we need to train on those written procedures, and we need to track those written procedures.”

A Quick (and Very Important) Word About Integrity
Gaining the expertise to produce and present the Vista Schools event is the result of years of time, experience, and research as well as thousands of dollars planning and producing the event itself. We could go through all the “legalese” regarding copyrights, trademarks, and differing methods of verifying facts. However, we prefer to say that our program, materials, and the price paid is protected even more by your integrity as a person. To copy, record, give away, or lend the videos of this event is not just illegal; it trivializes your investment in it.
By going through our Vista Schools process, you expressly agree to be honest with us regarding your firm’s size and do not record or pass along any captured videos. Video recording of the event will be available to you, and you only, for 30 days after the event. Thank you for understanding and agreement.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who from my firm should attend the Vista schools?
The Vista schools provide such a wealth of content and action steps that there is value in any team member attending! We highly recommend that your Director of Operations (or COO) attends along with any team leads who oversee intake, case management, and HR. Your “boots on the ground” team members will find value in many of our presentations. We also recommend at least one partner attend.
If I’ve attended Vista schools in the past, is there benefit to me attending again?
Most definitely! The Vista Team is constantly improving, tracking industry trends, and keeping up with best practices. We add relevant and timely content year after year, and we continuously dive deeper into subjects with new insight, strategies, and industry changes. 2020 has been, to say the least, a little different. We’ve seen management styles pivot as firms deal with remote workers, we’ve seen intakes take a dive in some cases, and we’ve seen case management needs increase as clients have more time to check on their case. Our schools change and adapt to ensure you receive the most up to date content. They truly get better and better every year!
If I’m a current or previous Vista client, should I still come to the schools?
Absolutely! As a Vista client, you already know the incredible value and insight our team brings to your firm. The Vista schools add another layer of perspective, as we address the plaintiff law industry as a whole. We dig deeper into the issues every firm faces. The knowledge you gain at the schools will help us with any current, firm-specific projects. Too, you get access to the collective knowledge in the room. You’ll be able to learn from the experiences of other firms in the room and online, many of whom have also worked with Vista in the past in some capacity. Being among like-minded firms who see the value in constantly growing and learning is always a plus.
What qualifications does the Vista instructor team have?
Every Vista team member has significant years of experience and mastery in their respective fields. Some are attorneys. Others are former intake managers. Some have run their own firms and companies. ALL of them are consummate business professionals who feel passionately about self improvement and lifelong learning. Each works closely with firms across the country and is able to spot trends, concerns, and best practices. We feel we have the ultimate lineup of industry professionals.
Will you address firm specific questions during the event from both in-person and live streaming attendees?
Yes. Each session is highly interactive and engaging, and we foster participation from everyone attending. We take and answer questions throughout the sessions and we end each session with “open mic” Q&A time. Our streaming attendees will be able to submit questions online. We will answer as many questions as possible during each session, but we also attempt to adhere to our agenda. If there are questions we don’t get to during our sessions, we will make time to answer them directly with the participant after the event. For our in-person attendees, you are welcome to ask firm-specific questions of our Vista team members during breaks as well.
Has Vista ever hosted streaming events in the past?
Yes. In June 2020, Vista presented our Annual Conference virtually. We hosted more than 350 people from all over the country across two separate online platforms simultaneously. For our Vista schools, we have doubled our investment in technology to ensure your streaming experience is seamless. You can expect the same caliber of content whether you attend in-person or streaming.
Do I have to attend or can I just get the slides for my team?
We encourage you to attend so you can have a “front-seat” experience. Much of the value comes in the presentation by our experienced team and the interaction of our in-person and streaming attendees. Our live streaming option also provides the opportunity to view the recorded sessions for up to 30 days after the end of the event.
If I have questions about content after the schools are over, can I reach out to Vista?
Yes, Vista is truly your one-stop-shop for all law firm business related questions and resources. We offer quality content and frequent opportunities to expand your knowledge.
Will you be providing the recording of the schools?
Yes. Every firm that registers to the live streaming will be given access to the recordings for 30 days after the end of the schools. Shortly after the end of the schools, we will send the access information to the person who registered the firm. The recordings will be available to everyone in your firm to watch and use for self-paced learning and focused team development.
How quickly does registration fill up for the schools?
Vista schools are a historically popular event. Many firms return year after year, and our registration fills up quickly. We recommend you register soon. That’s why we are offering an Early Bird Special to encourage you to secure your spots as soon as possible (5% off your total if you register by September 11). Please note that only 1 discount offering can be redeemed.
How will Vista be addressing COVID-19 concerns?
Vista puts the health of our team members and attendees above everything else. Our in-person attendance seating is limited, and we will be following the CDC guidelines for social distancing throughout all our sessions and activities. If guidelines change and we are unable to host the event in-person, we will contact you immediately to discuss your options. Please note that Vista is not responsible for expenses such as travel or lodging cancellations or similar expenses.
Does this event qualify for CLE credits?
Many past attendees have submitted our detailed agendas to their state bar and received CLE credit. We encourage all attendees to do the same.
